I love these, but only when they're on special offer - which isn't very often.
Otherwise, they are ridiculously expensive. :(

Much as I also hate the Walkers hegemony I hope you are all voting for Peoples' Hero Gary Lineker in the National TV awards (whatever the fuck that is).

I think it's cucumber, salad cream and cheese.
Nasty. They're all nasty those new 'sandwich' flavours.

Aren't Walkers and Lays exactly the same product, with different branding for different territories?

Tudor were the crisp of choice when I was a lad. Wonderful brand. Hot dog and mustard! lamb and mint sauce! pickled onion!

I went for Seabrooks and Brannigans here. I hate Walkers and agree with Gradual.

Those pulled pork crisps are diabolical.

I associate Walkers with train journeys so much that the tastes and smells overlap in my mind. Whenever I pick up one I think I can smell diesel and see bored faces. Also because our primary school was so skint in the 90s, they force fed us on them so they could get the 'free books for schools' tokens. And they wonder why child obesity happens.

Those old crinkle-cut Seabrooks packets were the only crisps the tiny old shop in my Nanna's village used to sell, so they have the nostalgia value but they were pretty tasteless.

You can see from the above that I'm not a massive lover of crisps. I have Kettle bags occasionally but I don't seek them out.

"Fiddler's" seems an unfortunate brand name, but these crisp are the business.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Yeah, all owned by Pepsi's parent corporation.

Nori-salt chips are not my favorite but they're enormously popular here.

Walkers or McCoys for me. The ultimate test is how good they are to make sandwiches with.

Most of the novelty varieties that have been hitting the stands lately (I think they're Lays, like southern style sausage & biscuits or whatever) are crap, but these things are the BOMB, I'm telling you.
