I had some ghastly nightmares last night, the sort that linger for minutes after you have woken up and you can't separate reality from sleep. I can't even recall specifically what they were about, only that they involved poltergeist type activity and ghoulish apparitions appearing in everyday places and managing to slam me against walls with the power of their thoughts. Happy shit like that! I thought about waking the husband up but he looked too peaceful. I tried to wake the cat up but he was also in happy dreamland. It's a long time since I have been absolutely terrified like that. Awful.
