I'll tell you when BCB started going down. When the Grinch took the Treasury of Mirth off Nextdoorland is when, which was - hm - about five years ago. Put it back and watch this place flourish again.

It's an amazing little community. Even for someone like me who doesn't post as much. The people I've met, the people who helped me when I had a CD to promote (and that was back in the Mojo days, I believe). The folks here in L.A. who will come out to greet a visitor to our fair city. I could go on and on but you all already know. It's something special.

Possibly, maybe not, who knows, only the slider was adept and tagging things.

But to answer your question Ray the essence of the thing is that we shared, we laughed, we had an identity, we drunk and we still have/do. Those identities may change and the roster may vary but at the end of the day it was never about the post or the verbosity, it was the people, and it still is.
