I'm being proactive and working out a theme for the next thread in this series, myself.
A "Who, if we're being honest, really gets a thrill out of being/feeling/seeming nominally 'sharper' than YJ? Will/do you miss it?" poll.
I may lack a certain knack for naming these types of threads, so I'm merely putting forth the "content" and hoping for the best.

I'm glad Coan made a list of threads YJ started, because I never noticed most of them the first time around. "Lighthouse: the thinking man's Chicago!" thread lends itself to an ongoing series - "Jean-Michel Jarre, the thinking man's John Tesh!" See if you can work in that angle.
"Quite."

I was just thinking are all the folk that want YJ to be banished/suspended, modest and like doing bad things?

The list makes me laugh, too.
It's different when they're all compiled like that. And it's funnier when you're not someone who spends that much time here.

It is different when compiled like that, yes.
I spend a lot of time here, reading more than participating, and still found his posts funny. If he is a troll then he has been very good at it and fooled a lot of board for a long time and if he isn't a troll, just some behind the times stupid twit then I'll feel guilty because I've been laughing at him.
This might have been conclusively answered by now but are we absolutely certain he isn't an alias? One of his posts from a while ago still sticks in my mind, and still makes me laugh: he was talking about another message board and posted something along the lines of "a long standing member of another forum I frequent hadn't logged in for a few weeks and we became very concerned about them, even feared he was dead. It turned out he was posting a lot on a Sonic Youth message board."
The link between Sonic Youth and death made me laugh and it struck me as similar humour to BCB, or members of BCB. And I say that as a Sonic Youth fan.

It looks like we'll never be able to ascertain whether he was a genuine dope, or someone fucking around for fun. That's the strangest thing of all.

After this list was posted, I was thinking if he's like this on here, imagine his poor family.
I imagine the Eiffel Tower made of toothpicks on his fireplace mantle.

Oh, sure - I maintain that intention is seldom more than %.000001 of comedy.

Yes. It wasn't going your way as it read, so you changed it. So now it's results no longer stand.
In YOUR mind.
You don't even know who you're angry with any more, do you?

I'm not angry with anyone.

Strictly from memory but I believe JY only got a small message saying he was being suspended for a month with only a brief explanation of why due to some constraints ( message size or something). I may be wrong though.
Oh boy is it getting rough, when my old world charm isn't quite enough.

Can't we merge this thread with the other one, make it quicker for it to reach over 100 pages. Charlie harper is getting a bit to big for his boots with his biggest thread.
