No, but have been to Benbecula airport which is infinitely less picturesque. But slightly more tarmacked.

Mrs Jeemo and the Wee Guy were on a break in Barra, and there was a fault with the plane when it landed. Their flight was cancelled and the flight the next day was fully booked. They ended up getting the ferry to fly from Benbecula, with a stay at the hotel paid for including all grub. Wee guy was over the moon as he got an extra day off school.

Blimey, I hope the landing wasn't too hairy. Its a lovely part of the world sure enough. We plan to go back and do a bit of a tour next year. I'd love to get out to St Kilda again.

The landing is absolutely fine, I've done it twice. We stayed in a house opposite the airport. Two arrivals and departures every day.

We're just back from a week in Reiff which is 25 miles on a single track road past Ullapool. Lovely part of the country. St Kilda would be brilliant to visit.

Also been to the Kirkwall Airport in the Orkney's.

I picked my three but need to add the airport on Islay too because it's the smallest I've ever experienced. Getting through security was a breeze!
