To be honest, I don't really know. They kept it for a couple of minutes too, before they let me into the room with the weed. They ran it through their system. At first I thought they were checking for some kind of criminal record, but I think they were just entering my name into their system so that next time they would know who I was.
It was the only unpleasant part of the experience.
And Anna, if I can tolerate you blathering on about cunts for years, you can read the occasional sentence beginning with 'so.'

I don't know why, out of all the posts in random stuff, you pick that one to go off on.

Yesterday for lunch, I had a small bowl of chili with ground beef. By the time I got to my car, I could feel my ankle hurting. In the afternoon, my shoe felt a little tight but not much swelling. I ran on the treadmill and it really started hurting.
Luckily, I had some extra colcichine pills from the ER visit and first gout attack I had a month ago and that helped a lot.
I've been eating really healthy - no processed meats, just chicken, and tons of veggies, fruits and legumes.
I guess this is my new reality.
I emailed my doctor and he refilled prescription and I'm getting blood test.
