Arrived home in once piece after my weekend at the Reading Festival...washing in the machine as I type...I've just washed all the camping pans and cutlery...It was minging beyond belief.

I slept 4 hours during the day sleeping yesterday and 10 hours sleeping last night...I love the festival but it knocks the living bejaysus out of me the older I get

Was told I should have some word on the job front by Friday.

I interviewed at the place for another position last month, and was one of two finalists, but they went with the other person. They told me, though, that they wanted to bring me on board in another capacity. So I applied for something else, skipped the interview process, was given a big ol' assessment project, and turned that in yesterday. I honestly think (hope?) I knocked it out of the park.

Going crazy with anxiety, but fingers crossed.

Any fingers I have left to cross that aren't crossed already I shall cross for you. Seems like I am doing every superstitious ritual for everyone daily, it's such an uncertain and scary world these days.
I think, though, that if one thing doesn't come through, there will be a next.

my random stuff-- I have a LOT of little decisions to make between now and tomorrow, and I really feel like advice. Why is it though, that the only people that give advice are those that don't seem to consider any of the facts -- and everyone else figures I should be trusted to make up my own mind.
I really CAN'T be trusted with big decisions.
I don't want to move countries next week, and yet next week will insist on coming.
