My co-worker just told me her daughter got valedictorian at her school and the academic/art award for the year.

I told her my son had pretty good attendance this year.

I’m not sure that we want your sort coming down here, taking over our coffee shops and pagan trinket emporia. I shall need to consider your application in fine detail. Or you could just buy me lunch.

Good news for Yomp!

Bad news for BCB!

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

They may well be, but it will at least be fun while it lasts.

I have done the sums, and I am confident that they add up.

I can always find work if I need to though. And I probably will. But it will not be in a place where they are building an unnecessary train, or a stupidly designed runway. I am leaving all that madness behind.

Thanks for all the good wishes. It is good to know that others think the way I do....

I saw Biddy's post on FB yesterday - it brought a smile to my face.

Absolutely fabulous move for you all, I'm certain of that. I love that part of Devon and clearly you feel the same way.

I'm overjoyed for you Yomp - brilliant news.

What I meant is that I bet you didn't factor in buying Jumper K's lunch. That could set you back a Maserati, along with a tip.

Now, that hurts.

I wish you'd have called me that before my son was born. We would've had a first and middle name.

Going to dinner tomorrow night to the place where they filmed this video.

The Golden State Warriors are NBA champs - three of the last four years.

This was a team, that won a surprise NBA championship just as I was becoming a huge sports fan, when I was 13. After that, it was no playoffs for 22 years and no all-star for almost 20. Every season, I went into it saying that the Warriors weren't going to suck me in, but my loyalty won out.

I spent many seasons where my only hope was that they'd get a lottery pick in the draft and then they'd botch that.

I'm walking on air for the second year in a row.

I love music, and it means a lot to me, but I probably love sports just as much. I'm a hack at both, but was a much better athlete, so can relate a little more. There was a span, between the ages of 25 to 40, that I didn't go more than two days not playing basketball in one form or another. I told my wife once to scatter my ashes over Candlestick Park, the old home of the SF 49ers and SF Giants.

Now, it will probably be to scatter my ashes over AT&T Park and the new home of the Warriors, Chase Center, which will be a mile apart in San Francisco.

Three out of four kids in the Bay will be wearing Curry 30 jerseys today. I guarantee it.

Best of luck with the move and the new phase in your life - I just googled Ilfracombe... what a gorgeous place!! :P
