I've found a site where I can stream US TV (ustv247), and it seems I can stream TCM for free. But then when I google for a program guide, no matter where I go, I get error. Very frustrating, to have access to TCM and then not be able to read a program schedule.

I was stroking Sam cat the other night and felt something matted on his back. I leaned over and sniffed it and thought he had been rolling in shit. I lifted him up and took him into the bathroom and on parting his fur found a leaking abscess presumably from a cat bite or scratch. There was a ton of pus leaking out which I mopped up, and today there is a lovely little hole. He's off to the vet in the morning. He'll hate that.
I spent the rest of the day watching cat abscesses getting squeezed on Youtube. It's always a thrill when it all comes out.

Some jerk in a humongous pickup truck cut off the lady in front of me at the drive-thru this morning. She honked, I hollered, and dude opened up his window and started explaining to her how disrespectful she was to honk at him, and how she was what was wrong with the world, that nobody had any respect and all this.
So I poked my head out the window, yelled at him that HE was what was wrong with the world today, that he was an asshole and had no right to cut in line and that I hoped they spit in his food.
When I went to pay for my biscuits, the lady in front of me had already paid for me! Score!

Some jerk in a humongous pickup truck cut off the lady in front of me at the drive-thru this morning. She honked, I hollered, and dude opened up his window and started explaining to her how disrespectful she was to honk at him, and how she was what was wrong with the world, that nobody had any respect and all this.
So I poked my head out the window, yelled at him that HE was what was wrong with the world today, that he was an asshole and had no right to cut in line and that I hoped they spit in his food.
When I went to pay for my biscuits, the lady in front of me had already paid for me! Score!

I am going out this evening. No big deal you might think , but it has been a while, and I am meeting an old school friend I have not seen for a few years. I think he is concerned for my mental health, and wants to get to the bottom of " all this retirement nonsense". So it should be an interesting hour or so. I am also going out on Friday to meet the rest of my old school gang. It is our 60th birthday this year, so all sorts of parties and shit have been arranged. I , of course have already made arrangements to miss each and every one. I don't mind a pint or two, or a restaurant meal, but I simply cannot manage a party. Just not for me. So the plan is that a couple of short , sharp engagements will get me off the hook for the rest of the year... Of course I will have a great time, and wonder why I am always so negative about going out. I must be old.
