My son had to take a photo of a car stopped in front of us today because of their bumper stickers.

Canadian relations are over visiting. Lots of taxi-ing them around.

You should ask them about guns and President Trump.

You're in America, Canada, a different country, way over the border.

That's the end of a week that I'm glad is finished. The Big Dog left us early this week and today we buried my mother-in-law. All went as well as could be hoped for. Deep breath and back to some sort of normality.

Ach I think my 89 year old Dad has the big C. Not that surprised - he's not been that well for a little while. I'm just hoping that if it is diagnosed properly (and the signs are there) then it's over fairly quickly for him. He's grown frail in the last 6 months to a year. Luckily his children are all less than an hour's travel from him so hopefully the care isn't too difficult both for him and for us.

Absolutely.
In other words an extended look into *******’s head, and it seems to have some pretty good things in it (who among us is totally free of mental garbage?) It’s nice to see that he is confident enough so he can play some blues again,I’d like to hear more.

I was bitten by an insect at the graveside yesterday. My hand today is very swollen and sore to the touch. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow, or it's the doctors for me.

An appalling week. Take a deep breath. Sending all good thoughts. Take it easy x

We took Sam, my big old tabby to the vet this morning. He's 12 years old now. He has been getting a bit slow and clingy over the past few months, and been very vocal at certain times of day and night which is unlike him. I wanted to check out there was nothing physically wrong with him.
He doesn't mind the vets really, and rolls straight over for tummy tickle when he is on the exam table and he gets fawned over.
Anyway, today as we took him into the exam room, the girth he has gained over the past few weeks contributed I am sure to the bottom of the carrier collapsing with him still in it. He ran round the exam room as we all screamed, ran out the door all the way through reception and into the dog exam room on the other side of the building where we had to coax him out with cat treats. It was all a bit Looney Tunes cartoonish.
