I had a 'sess' with a group of women once. Didn't know which way to turn.

Myself, I think a lot has to do with the memory of pain-- how we think about the pain, and how we remember it-- so someone's statement about labor pain being less, because women forget it and have another baby. This is helped an enormous amount by hormones. Sorry to dismiss the argument of centuries.

I can't say I'm not a little sad women are winning this one. Somehow, knowing the how many more males there are to females on this board-- it seems somehow that we all don't think much of ourselves and think there must be more to the human race than the poor specimen that we are, ourselves. Either that or the people of BCB will just argue anything.

I think it's a fair bet that none of those involved have suffered chronic pain. Until you've had involuntary bodily contortions caused by pain, you're not really qualified to have an opinion.

If the women are 'winning' here, then why is there so much misogyny in the world?

I dare say. I certainly don't get the impression that misogyny is rampant on BCB.

Genuinely funny women are rare. I mean women who have this innate and effortless gift, with expression, perception and phrasing. Loads of men have it.

I like men and women, but I enjoy the company of men more. It's great when you meet a woman you hit it off with though.

Me too...I love him...he never fails to make me laugh and he isn't even trying to

He was Irish radio there a few days back, everyone was texting in saying he's brilliant. Him being him, he asked for the negative comments that the dj wasn't reading out. The dj said there wasn't any and basically to cop himself on and take the compliments.

Irish saying, like if someone is being stupid you'd say "cop yourself on".

Very generally, I would say I "hit it off" with women and "find funny" men. Women (in general) are more into being funny WITH you, rather than at you. I like them both.

At the same time there's nothing sexier than a naturally funny woman. Tina Fey and Kristen Wiig are currently top of my list.
