Got me a Timex with Indiglo! Know how those radiated hands fade after a few minutes of dark? Now I can wake at any time of night and know the time. And date!
I love you.

Have one. Reasonable timepiece. Citizen Eco-something.

Don't wear it Can't at work. Forget at other times.

An anachronism (yuk yuk!) when I always have a phone on me...that can do so much more than tell the time!

I stopped wearing one during the upswing of a depressed phase of my life-I figured i'd try and lead a life that wasn't entirely governed by 'time'.
It was empowering, and I wasn't late often.

Hey, that's the design of the Swiss railway station clocks. A real classic!

I hate the idea of anything tight on my wrists, so I had a pocket watch for a while - but I always forgot to rewind it.
For several years now, my smartphone is quite enough.

I do like the idea of the qlocktwo watch.

Doesn't seem that long since the last watch thread. Anyway, I have a few. Used to have quite a few (nearly all Longines), but sold most to buy my wife's wedding ring. So, I currently have these:

I have a Red Army pocket watch somewhere. Not totally sure if it's genuine. My brother got it for me on his travels.

Ah... rather special. I was surprised when Googling on it... an artefact of a bygone era.

I think I found pictures to use in the last watch thread, but I have a few watches in the fairly cheap £100-£300 bracket. Currently wearing a quite plain Rotary with a white face (yes, both me and the watch), with gold trim and black roman digits. Had it about 20 years, so can't find an image. Looks a lot like a watch, if you're having trouble picturing it from the description.

same thing just happened to me...

Guess this is the only way to write what I want to say:

It's ironic that I never wear a wristwatch - I was born and grew up in the Swiss town that is home to R@lex, Omeg@ and Sw@tch :P
