No way, I'm watching my figure.

i wish the very same, forsooth. it gets me all mushy, with sonnets and love songs flying through my brain. sniffle. i don't know when the exact time of the ceremony is, so i keep blowing bubbles on and off, just on general principles. everyone around here thinks i've lost my puny lil mind. i care not.

Funny, I keep thinking of the David Lee Roth joke about the three rings of marriage: the engagement ring, the wedding ring, and the suffering.

But seriously, if they have as good a time at it as I've had, it'll be worth it.

It ain't always a picnic, but the ants are part of the shared adventure.

indeed.

of course, i go by my reaperdom. a few weeks ago, we hit our 12 year 'anniversary' (of the cabin thing). and, as ya know, we first met online, on a music board.

lord knows we've had our share of ants. mwhahaha. yet here we be. the world can be coming down around me. i can be losing my mind, threadbare, hobbling around like an old nag out to pasture. i can tell him in desperation that i'm fallin apart at the seams. and he'll grab me from behind, in his best meth elvis drawl, and say, "heya, baybuh, i got yer hot glue gun, ... cmawn." i truly think i'd be in a padded cell if it weren't for reap.

so yeah, i believe in true love. i believe in it overcoming all obstacles of time, space, money, work, family, friends, pets, politics, religion, musical preference, food, lack of proper spice availability, climate, history, physical coordination or lack thereof, shoe size, ants, cooties, and card-cheating skills.

here's to minnie and baron and all the yummery to come for all the years to come. ya ya ya.

p.s. i do hope someone makes sure minnie eats something tomorrow. i know, i know, i sound more nag-like all the time. but i recall getting so excited i forgot to eat. i did not, however, forget to drink massive amounts of champagne. this proved to be a very, very dangerous combination, especially when it came to a certain airline.

We never got married, did we Kath?

For 20 miles, I had to listen to my newlywed say on our honeymoon "Why'd you get me so drunk?" and "The road's too curvy."
