All the best Kath.
I don't have a beezle. I have a mookin.
I follow your advice- to cherish him, every day.

the time cometh round again.
from my FB:
speaking of traditions: the day returns. happy birthday to elizabeth erin the beezle on this, what would've been her 28th. y'all know how this works. it is a day of celebration, of all things elizabethan and beezly. go forth and love on those ya got while you've got em. play happifying music. or just play. slobber on local artists (including yerself.) take the advice she gave me: be merry. spread the love with reckless abandon. see the beauty of the world thru an artist's eyes. this is how her spirit lives on. ye know what i mean. everybody get all huggy.

thank yew so very much, c! ::smacksmacksmack::
the roll this year (minus the music clips)... with ole pics, although some in this thread are blurred out by photofucquit now, and a few new. it is what it be. here we geaux.
the day rolls round again. happy birthday to elizabeth erin my beezle, on this, what would've been her 29th. as y'all know, it's the day for celebrating all things elizabethan. ye know what it means. go forth and play some cocteaus, bowie, pumpkins, bach, sabbath. whatever you like, really, just do it with joy. spread sweetness and kindness. support yer local artists. love on the people you love. let em know how happy you are to have em in yer life. oh, and eat waffle fries. carpe the damn diem. ::smack::
on an alaskan cruise, 2007
the dog blondie... in oil.
at my sister's wedding. (my male spawn has that look of attilan mischief in his eyes. maybe it's the tie. he stole it from reap.)
on the left, the beezle's first version of the painting she made for les. les was having a rough time, and elizabeth wanted to cheer her up. the right is the finished version she gave to les.
she's wearing a tee shirt reap gave her... the motto of the company he worked for (it's a library software thing)
i'll be able to put up all her art with proper pics of it (including her sculptures) after i move. it's all in new orleans now. what i still had here covering the walls i sent home with chi chi the last time she came after reap passed. wasn't gonna risk puttin it in a uhaul. and we still haven't figured out which car will contain the five cats. did i mention i'm moving in a week? BUT I AM COMPLETELY CALM ABOUT THE WHOLE THING IS WHAT I AM. (sigh.) onward.
with my ma. both wonderful humans.
then there are the pics i hafta post every year, i love them so.
... i post em every year becuz they are a snapshot in time of art and spirit and love. the essence of beezledom. which makes em timeless, of course.
the queen of the waffle fry.
love to everyone. ::::::smack::::::

All the best with the impending move! May it give you a sense of renewal and be the oasis of peace you are looking for.
As per usual, I am listening to some Cocteaux....this time The Moon & The Melodies is gracing the stage.
