What always strikes me about this place is how little we really know about each other's lives beyond the sometimes spectacularly good, bad, or mundane like "stepped in a puddle on the way to the mailbox." Or what Creedence album we like best, which are small parts of our total lives.

I don't know what I'd do if Kari died. Really. I feel like she's as much of me as me. Except for a couple of folks who've met her, you only get me and don't get to see my better half.

I go back to seeing my dad and the mix of frustration and desperation watching my mom succumb to Leukemia.

I hope Alb's got lots of family and friend support in the coming days and weeks.

Dear Garry -

sincerest condolences out of Holland. Wishing you all the strength you need, and all the best in these bitter times. May she rest in peace.

Frank.
On the whole, I'd rather be in Wallenpaupack.
