Always do a copy...but the copy will be the 'send out'. I dont neccassarily use the original/copy to gauge how the mix went, its more of a car/work disc. Another comp to add to the collection. In fact, the majorty of the mixes I send are actually copies of comps ive initially done for myself anyway. Very rarely do I mix specifically for my recipient, preffering to send them what is on my deck at that particular point in time.
