However...unfortunately the one I received had a crack and wouldn't play. Sadness ensued.

You should take the time to go back. See if there's any previous months discs you haven't reviewed :D

Done. It's for the boss this month so I'm extra nervous.

Mine's arrived. Just had a quick skip through it, sounds really good. :)

I'd be keen to see either a review or a reveal. A match for October wouldn't go amiss either :?

Well as of the 8th October, and given the matches went out in August, there have been 6 of 14 reviews posted. I'm not going to be in a rush to do the next month when there has been so little activity from the previous.

That said, with a few new (re)joiners and one or two reliable regulars chomping at the bit, I'll do these next weekend, although depending on progress this may become October/November. I have no problem continuing to do these on a monthly basis, but it seems a bit pointless if it just means creating a backlog.

Remember the days when this used to run like clockwork ?

P.S I know you weren't having a go necessarily Paul. Just thought I'd give an update in the light of your comment.

Thanks Paul, and no, I most definitely wasn't having a go. It's a shame it's dragging at the moment, usnt it? I wonder I we could do our best to do the October mixes and reviews really quickly so that we can get back on track as on November 1st. Just a little effort from us all. I know that if I have until the end of November then that's how long I'll probably take. Likewise, if I know I have until the end of October then thats how long I'll take too.

Shall we all pledge to get everything outstanding, plus the October mixes, all cleared by nov 1st? It would be a nice gesture to Paul, who has the thankless task of organising this.

What do you say?
