While Amazon is nowhere near as good as Netflix, it does have three or four very good shows - Bosch being one of
them. Patriot and Preacher are also well worth checking out if you've not seen them

I've been binge watching Atlanta. Great show - I don't know why I waited so long.

"Westworld" marathon of season 1 leading up to the season 2 premiere.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Just watched the BBC4 documentary on Jeff Beck from last Friday night.

That man is frighteningly talented. Genius.

I've read all the books, are the TV shows based on them?

They are based on the books. However there has been a few changes. Harry served in Afghanistan rather than Vietnam. They are not doing the books in order. They do the books fairly faithfully but do add in bits from other books.

Titus Welliver as Harry absolutely nails it. If you like the books you should like the show.

Cars That Rock with Brian Johnson. Bentley

Watch his maniacal grin as he shoots down the road in the original 3litre Blower driven by a beautiful blonde lady.

Watch him burst into tears as he is allowed to drive Birkin's 4.5l are Brooklands.

A lovely programme because of Johnson's unabashed childlike love of cars.

I imagine the bentley one may be the best as he is famous for having his own 4l Bentley in his collection but I look forward to finding another show in my trawl through satellite TV channels in the mid triple figures.

Greatest hair ever. Not sure about his current frightwig though.

I’m on the penultimate episode.

I’m not sure if I’ll bother with season 2.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through it, and I never really realised how exceptional he was. His records don't do him justice, if that makes sense. All those tales about him being grumpy and awkward don't come across in this documentary. In fact he's modest and quite shy.

Just finished this - I'd have loved a second series (but then I've had a crush on Tara FitzGerald since Englishman Who Went Up A Hill... and Brassed Off)

ScyFy show adapted from comic books, seen on Netflix.

Absurd plot, OTT characters with no depth whatsoever, great acting, visceral cinematography, cartoonlike violence... I like it!

The Split, a six parter currently on BBC 1

Image

Two family law (aka cut-throat divorce) firms feuding with each other privately and professionally as they're also members of the same long time divorced family.
Hot mess but excellent drama and plot lines with strong acting, especially Nicola Walker.

We also meet the wealthy clients, negotiating a way through their own personal (and financial) crises and private hells: who starts divorce proceedings in the middle of a partner's chemotherapy treatment?

Yes, he's in it but as the Daddy of the legal family, reappearing after years in the US to complicate things, not a client.
