The first two seasons are brilliant. The third, not so.

The first couple of episodes of the second season feature some of the most nail-biting, fucked-up stuff I've seen since The Sopranos.

Bryan Cranston's performance is a thing of wonder, isn't it? He deserves every accolade going.

Season 4 doesn't begin until June or July. I hope it's still good.

Whoooo boy, yeah, I'm almost finished season 2. Crikey.

Cranston is fricking brilliant, absolutely. Always liked him. No wonder he's won 3 straight Emmys.

I've only seen season 1 but may continue. I have to rent the boxes as they come out.
I have heard that Bob Odenkirk shows up later for which I cannot wait.

I think the third is the best yet! This series is telling a story in (very) long form, and to the perceptive viewer and student of storytelling, the third season is logically paying off things that were set up in the first episode of S1. And what a cliffhanger!

We wouldn't know because no one has picked it up in the UK yet, though different channels are showing series 1 and 2 at present.

Yeah, Odenkirk is great in it! I love him. No one plays smarmy arsehole like Bob. 8-)

Season 3 should be coming out on dvd any minute now, but no release date seems to be set as yet. I'm salivating here.

What I find great about Odenkirk's performance is that his character is not that far removed from something he would have played on Mr Show.
He tries.

He plays that type of character alot. He was great on The Larry Sanders Show, and I recall a one-ep appearance on Just Shoot Me (back in the 90s) playing a perfect....twat. Yep, he's terrific.

I don't recall him on the Larry Sanders show and I don't know if I could sit through an episode of Just Shoot Me but I remember when David Cross was on it.
Odenkirk was good on an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. And was great as a regular cast member on the short lived Ben Stiller show. He does a great Charles Manson.
He's had an interesting career; wrote for SNL for a few years, Mr. Show of course and directed the underrated Melvin Goes To Dinner.

His brother Bob wrote for Mr. Show and has been a producer on the Simpsons for years.

On Larry Sanders he played Larry's agent, Stevie.

Cross was great on Just Shoot Me, faking a brain injury.

His brother Bob Bill wrote for Mr. Show and has been a producer on the Simpsons for years.

Fixed. I think.

Just finished season 3 of this. Just gets better and better...Does anyone know how much time is supposed to have passed between the start of season 1 and the climax of season 3 (won't say what happens so as not to spoil it for those who've not yet seen it)
