Not seen any of the Floyd or Can ones, most of the Popol Vuh ones or either of these:
Tangerine Dream - Sorcerer
Klaus Schulze - Body Love Vol 1 and 2. Soundtrack to 70's porno movies.

I heard this in a record store (remember those?) a few years ago, and was really taken by it.

Great film too. Although, if you do see it you will have to come back and delete your post.

I hadn't seen Virgin Suicides until last year but have loved Air's score since it came out (probably my favourite Air release, too).

Sorcerer is William Friedkin's remake of Henri-Georges Clouzot's classic The Wages of Fear. It's actually really good on its own terms. Well worth a rental.

Re: Love the soundtrack, never seen the film
Just stumbled across another intriguing soundtrack for a film I've never seen:
Momo Wandel – Toko
Percussion Discussion Africa – Nakawunde
Orchestra – Idi's Story (from "The Last King of Scotland")
Tony Allen – Afro Disco Beat
E.T.Mensah & The Tempos Band – Save Me
Orchestra – Ambush (from "The Last King of Scotland")
Angela Kalule – Me And Bobby McGee
Afrigo Band – Kasongo
I. Jingo – Fever
Nyzonza Singers – The Bonnie Banks O' Loch Lomond
The Uhuru Dance Band – Bukom Mashie
Orchestra – Press Conference (from "The Last King of Scotland")
Ofo The Black Company – Love Is You
Orchestra – Getting the Evil of Nicolas (from "The Last King of Scotland")
Orchestra – On the Runway (from "The Last King of Scotland")
Orchestra – Down Over Lake Victoria (from "The Last King of Scotland")
Ndere Dance Troupe – Acholi Pot Song
Kawesa – Voice of the Forgotten (from "The Last King of Scotland")
Sounds brilliant from what I've heard so far.

Re: Love the soundtrack, never seen the film
By-the-way, I came across that soundtrack while searching on Spotify for tracks by the group Ofo The Black Company. There are two tracks on there. One is Allah Wakbarr, which is on the fabulous Nigeria 70 compilation, and the other one is Love Is You, from the film soundtrack for The Last King Of Scotland.
Hey, guess what? They're both the exact same track. But with a modified name for some reason.
The Last King Of Scotland qualifies as a British film as well, apparently.

Re: Love the soundtrack, never seen the film
I still have yet to see 'The Harder They Come' or 'Performance.' Haven't even seen 'Pretty in Pink' for that matter. I had the Miles Davis 'Ascenseur pour l'echafaud' soundtrack for years before I saw the movie.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Yes, I really liked it, but seeing L.A. as it was, in the '60s, is one of my favorite things. And Alexandra Hay was rather yummy. Wish there had been a couple more Spirit scenes, though.

The Hired Hand by Bruce Langhorne. Great LP, love it, but haven't seen this Peter Fonda western.

"Love" might be pushing it, but I do enjoy this album...
... and I've never been able to find out anything about the motion picture (other than what's on the album)! There is an IMDB page for it, but the description there is for something wholly other. I'd love to see it!
