I've got the last three to watch. This series has been very good so far - I thought Palestinian Chicken was hilarious and the episode where Larry was 'juicing' was very funny as well.

The man is a legend, long may he continue.

Just watched the Palestinian Chicken ep, fucking great (and she was sensational). The only downside was no Leon. They have a lot of fun making these things which is transmitted straight to the viewer.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

That's it exactly.

I feel the same way about a lot of comedy I love - Vic and Bob, Bilko, Bottom...

Yeah, one thing I love about it is the acting is, at best, briskly dismissed. Funkhouser seems to be always gulping a laugh down.

Yes! and LD does look rather pleased with himself much of the time. But I think we can forgive him that.

Here we go - one of the best scenes of the last series:

I've caught up with (I think) all the episodes which Sky Atlantic have been showing...I think seasons 1-4 or something

So the stuff which has just started on E4 is the current one (season 8), right?

Are Sky Atlantic gonna pick up again from season 5, or what? :?

Mel : "No, Krusty. You always treated me rather shabbily. On our last show, you poured liquid nitrogen down my pants and cracked my buttocks with a hammer."

The episodes with the one-armed man, and the Palestinian chicken one, were absolutely wonderful.

It's not the best season but it's always great to see more LD

Palestinian Chicken was an instant classic Curb episode. That one and Vow of Silence were the highlights. Larry David is the man.

I'm a few weeks behind most of you guys, just saw Palestinian Chicken which was amazing, the AVclub gave it an A+ which is incredibly rare but I think it was hilarious as well as a surprisingly nuanced thing on Jewish humour and identity

Ah. Right.

Well, I thought it was good. Great in parts. Not sure whether going with a 40-minute format was a good idea.

I liked the first one. Back at the same high standards of Larry David rantings and confusion.

The third one is the best yet.

This is just a treat.

Just seen episode 2 (Larrys disguise, the sex scene, Larrys doppleganger  ). Did Leon say to Funkhausers nephew have you ever "felt a titty"?

It gets sillier (fatwa?) but that's not a bad thing.

It's still great and it still makes me laugh out loud like few things do.

Very happy to see Anne Bedian back. I like it. It hides the Jew.

It’s a bit baggy though, could do with a trim.

That last scene where he's Skypeing that fella from Iran and they all run down the stairs in the background? Funniest thing I've seen in months.
