Kenneth Anger RIP

Postby GoogaMooga » 25 May 2023, 10:59

Kenneth Anger made Super 8 films at a time when music clearance was a lot easier - and cheaper! In fact, I don't think Anger even went to such lengths as clearing or paying up. It was a cheeky move, but he left us with "The Magic Lantern Cycle" and the immortal "Scorpio Rising", with the original all-contemporary pop hit soundtrack. Add to that the tell-all books, Hollywood Babylon I and II. Not much in a lifetime; makes you wonder if he was independently wealthy and lived off his money. RIP Kenneth Anger
