Full series went up on Sky yesterday.
A must-watch if you love the grittier (Get Carter - Long Good Friday) strand of British gangster movies over the risible mockney geezer gangster slop Guy Richie turns out every time one of his other movies bombs.
Watch episode one and you'll never look at a pub ashtray in quite the same way again

Didn't sound too good from the reviews, but Billy Hill was a fascinating character so I might give it a go.

Think you’re getting mixed up with the movie, Once Upon a Time in London, G, which is indeed about Billy Hill
This is a modern-day series on Sky and has thus far garnered mostly excellent reviews.

Once upon a Time In London was pretty poor. (In fact, I don't think we got to the end of it)
Might give this a go once we finish Ozark.

Absolutely dire. Even Guy Ritchie would disown it. I usually love this genre, but what an unholy mess.

I've heard it's deeply, unpleasantly and wantonly violent.

Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

Deep and unpleasant for sure, but nowhere near as wanton as your continual attempts to make yourself look cleverer than you are by posting words whose meaning you plainly do not fully understand.
