There's a new series starting tonight (Friday 8 March) on More 4 (Channel 14) continuing on from the acclaimed Deutschland 83 and now called Deutschland 86.

I was a big admirer of the original. It looks to be intriguing. Martin has been banished to Angola having fallen out of the Stasi's good graces.

I watched it. It was okay, not great. I'll watch the second one and see if its worth persevering with.

Likewise. A “previously on Deutschland 83” would have been helpful as it’s a while since we saw it. I recognised some of the cast, but could have done with a bit of a refresher.
