Both currently on TV in one form or another -
SH via the fourth and final series of her and Rob Delaney's excellent Catastrophe
JD via the apparently blanded-out American remake of the wonderfully dark Camping (one wonders why they bothered)
Equally splendid in their own ways - JD in creating more out-there characters and situations, and SH in writing believable characters and snappy scripts.
As someone who prefers dark twisted UK style comedy (think the League of Gentlemen and indeed all the way back to Jonathan Swift) over mainstream US sitcoms* where they have 98 writers who ensure everyone cracks wise, JD nails it for me. How about you?
