I'd see Radio Days and A Night At The Opera first - I thought Serpico was too long. But Pacino is great in it.

It never occurred to me Serpico might be too long. I could happily watch another hour of it, I love that New York world of the early 70s. One of my favourite films ever. I'll do the rest tonight

Surprised people haven't seen Naked. That's one of the key British films of the last 30 years and very different to other Leigh films. Thewlis is phenomenal in it.

I'm more worried by how many people haven't see the Texas Chainsaw Massacre frankly.

Come on, you can't beat a bit of Carry On Camping!
I've probably watched that film more times than Psycho, as for the others - despite a healthy obsession with Woody years back I find it hard to remember much of Radio Days, as someone else said, I found Night Of The Living Dead a little boring and I'm not sure if I've ever seen the whole of Night At The Opera.

The tone, somehow. I like films that establish a strong mood - they tend to stay with you longer. And the performances were excellent.

In order within categories:

Brilliant, classic, for the ages, etc.

Brief Encounter

Really quite good - a favorite

A Night At The Opera
Psycho
Radio Days
The Man Who Fell To Earth
Repo Man

I like it - enjoyable but not important to me

Napoleon Dynamite
Forrest Gump
Night of the Living Dead
Clerks
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

I guess I get why it's so acclaimed, but it's not that important in my personal pantheon

Eraserhead
Gone With The Wind

OK, I guess - saw it once and haven't really thought about it since

Four Weddings and a Funeral

Never seen

Naked
Hellzapoppin'
Sexy Beast
Dazed and Confused
Carry On Camping
The Long Good Friday
Serpico
Zabriskie Point
Drive
