the movie Buffalo 66

Postby fathertime » 13 Aug 2017, 19:16

I just saw it the other night as a free movie from my cable service. Really great movie, great acting, hysterically funny in some places yet dramatic.

Became the one of those hip indie films for a spell, when Vincent Gallo was briefly being heralded as the next big thing ( whatever happened there??). Personally I found it empty and indulgent, although Christina Ricci was very fetching!

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I'm too busy prostituting myself on the internet I'm afraid.

Some lass from Grimsby has agreed to pay me 20 quid and a steak bake to sleep with her.

Wish me luck!

Yeah, I really enjoyed that one. My favorite performance was probably from Ben Gazzara.

You say that like it's a bad thing. I happened to enjoy its empty indulgence.

Gallo personally is of course repugnant. A creep of the highest order as far as I can tell.
