RIP: George A Romero

Postby Carlisle Wheeling » 16 Jul 2017, 23:14

I've just shed a tear for one of my favourite directors. Just heard on TV that he has passed away at 77.

I'm not going to say too much as I'm in bed with a fever myself but as a horror film fanatic, along with Terrence Fisher, he was my main man. He will be sadly missed.

A true "father of" genre of film. R.I.P. Scared the shit out of me as a kid watching his films.

Horror legend. I mean the guy invented the classic zombie for crying out loud which basically makes him more important than Jesus.

RIP George.
