I've not even seen the first one.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Me neither, maybe just some bits and pieces here and there over the years. Is it supposed to be any good?

Well Rooker is making a comeback with Guardians of the galaxy, so I think he'll be up for it.

That's good news, because Rooker made for an awesome villain in Days of Thunder.

The first is one of the most tedious films I've ever encountered, so I think I'll probably pass on this.

I laughed pretty much all the way thru the original. It's one of those movies that doesn't mean to be a comedy, but is. Like say Road House.

Somehow I was the only one laughing tho. People have no sense of humor!

The fighter jet scenes have a certain thrill but, really, it's 80s bobbins, nostalgia for the kind of men you'd never ever want to go for a pint with.

This is the one where Tom flies into the "Danger Zone" and finds he can be himself finally...Free to seek out other Danger Zones...No longer hindered by the confines of the Danger Closet...
