I struggled with the first book and gave up (the prospect of 4000+ pages for the whole series was daunting) but I this looks rather good!

My friends are all over this, like it's gonna be the next big thing. Not gonna lie the trailer doesn't exactly set my world alight. I'll give it a chance because I like the two leading actors.

I think the trailer looks woefully pedestrian, unfortunately. The film is also penned by Akiva Goldsman so... Yeah. :|
