By the way did you notice Diane coming into the room through red drapes? I read a comment somewhere wondering whether she might be a doppelganger.

Reading the episode thread over at dugpa.com. Some people are theorising that Audrey is still in a coma :?

or maybe she is in the lodge and Cooper will eventually save her. It's such an odd scene that it would easy to assume something else is going on. We shall see

It seemed too realistic and mundane for a dream sequence.

I don't buy it myself but I can see why some might go for it. Some were arguing that the man was her psychologist or something, I dunno.

I tend to avoid such discussions but it's fun to read some of the interpretations other folks have. Warning: nerdy

Is anyone else a bit surprised by the way the Diane character is being written. With absolutely no reason to back it up, I just assumed she was a bit straight laced like cooper. I don't know why I just did. With the way she is written now and looking back at seasons 1 and 2, I get them impression once she got coopers recording sent back to her, she probably rolled her eyes and though "fucking dick". All IMHO of course.

We don't know what Evil Cooper did and how this has changed Diane although from what Cole has said she was always something like this.

But clearly she had a special relationship with Coop.

It could be argued that she's has special relationship with evil cooper and not old cooper.

Well why argue about something you don't know?

We know she had a special relationship with Old Cooper. Everything else is conjecture at this point. It might not even be the Old Diane.

So we can speculate and have a debate about it.
