Has anyone else noticed that the two main cops’ call signs are
Four Five
And
Three Seven
“So what?” You say.
Exactly the same call signs as Bodie and Doyle!
I kid you not - check it out if you done believe me!

I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

And I could have sworn they mentioned taking someone to Decker Avenue nick - which was one of the precincts in Hill Street Blues.

Much as I love Jed M and his stuff, Sunday's ending really was terrible, "dog ate my homework" type desperation.
I think the thing about the Bodyguard and LOD is that you can't really start questioning details too closely or the whole thing falls apart.
Anyone here seen his earlier medical series, Bodies? Far and away the best thing he's done

The UK's most senior police officer, the commissioner of the Metropolitan police is less than impressed with the programme

Even less so with the incredulous Bodyguard, also a Mercurio offering.

Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

Re: Let's talk about "Line of Duty"
I've only just discovered this series on Netflix (I don't live in the UK, in case you didn't know.)
Isn't it fun!
Rather unbelievable in many ways (ALL the main characters are either shagging a witness or mired in debt?) but sooooo much fun.
But you already knew that...
By the way, just finished Season 2, episode 4 so a long way to go.How many seasons before it jumps the shark?

I don't think it has yet.
If you've liked it so far I think you'll you'll be gripped all the way to Series 5.
Series 6 on its way sometime this year.

Binge watched all of season 3 this weekend.
Some of the plotting and characterisation were very tenuous but I still loved it.

If the end of S4 flabbered your ghast, wait 'til you see what happens in S5. Will still watch S6 though.
Anyone who's not seen it already, would be well advised to check out Mercurio's earlier Bodies (about incompetence and mis-management in the NHS - He was a doctor so he knows of what he writes).

I'm sure I'll watch them both. It's too late to turn back now!

Thanks for the tip. I'll look it out.

Do, it's very, very good and even more relevant following the sentencing of that vile Ian Patterson man
