Inside No. 9

Postby Pansy Puff » 15 Mar 2017, 22:18

The best thing on telly by miles. Who else would set an episode in a karaoke booth? It is often like a modern day "Tales of the Unexpected" but with better jokes. Even in the terribly sad episode last night there was the laugh out loud moment of the "Found: Black man's shoe" sign.

Anyone else.

I've not seen this week's episode yet, but yeah, it's one of the few things I look forward to, an almost old-fashioned stagey one-off drama with a twist. I loved the argument about paying the bill.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

The series is excellent. I've described it elsewhere as "a collection of mini comedy Fabergé eggs".

If quite like to get the full collection. Some episodes (eg the Sheridan Smith) one were outstanding, but even the weakest episodes were great.

I loved the first one but didn't realise there was a new series. Must catch up.

The current ones are season 3, so you have a lot of catching up to do!

Funnily enough, I missed the entire second series, too.
