Is it worth watching or can I clear my DVD recorder?

One of the best series I've seen in years. Absolutely brilliant. Jude Law is superb in it. Stick with it, though, as it's not what it might at first appear...

Thanks for the feedback, guys

Interestingly, in line with your comments, the first series of YP seems to have divided opinions to a level quite unlike
any other recent series I can recall

Only fair to watch the first couple of eps and see where we go from there...

Started this last night and almost abandoned it halfway through the first episode. So glad I preserved as it's actually pretty damned good
and a whole lot darker than I first expected.

Not just a great script and first rate acting but absolutely stunning art direction, set building and costume design, too. Can't
think of a more ravishing-looking series on TV at the moment

Would imagine that - regardless of any public condemnation they might issue* - this would be a huge
hit in the Vatican in much the same way as The Sopranos was with mobsters (many of whom were caught on FBI wiretaps
discussing the show).

* Thus far they've been strangely silent

I watched the first episode and really enjoyed it.
