I really enjoyed Atlanta. Donald Glover's a real talent. Enjoyed Rake and Please Like Me as well. And plenty more.

I'm amazed that people find the time to watch all this stuff.

It's fair comment. I shall crawl away and die under my BCB rock now

Game of Thrones is in decline - that there is no doubt. It's exciting, but as the story has veered away from Martin, it has lost its potency. I shall watch it to the end because I want to see all those denouements, yet I fear that I will be disappointed with the climax.

The only thing I can really remember watching apart from that was Masterchef and that SAS show on Channel 4.

For 2017, Alexander Armstrong's series on the hidden parts of Rome etc has so far been outstanding.

I used to like Alexander Armstrong when he was with Ben Miller and with Richard Osman on Pointless. His over-exposure on various travelogues and releasing an album of songs mean he is rapidly becoming as irritatingly ubiquitous as Stephen Fry, a man whose insufferable smugness makes Robert "Smuggins" Robinson look like Rasputin.

Don't do that just yet, GB!

Having read Bobzilla77's incredibly depressing post on the Robot thread in NDL, I'm thinking of joining forces with a few other BCBers and trying to get some kind of group discount at Dignities. Perhaps you could join that instead...

Planet Earth II was excellent. And I made it all the way through The Missing. Gave up on The Fall after the first two episodes. I missed the entire series of Inside no 9, but the Christmas special was nice enough.

Not sure I really watched much else beyond crappy panel shows. BBC4 music docs when drunk on a Friday night. That gets my vote.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.
