I don't know! I've only seen him in The Wire, and, to me, he wasn't a villain in that show.

Omar certainly did horrible things, but he lived by a rigid code, and was more of a Robin Hood villain than anything. The villains on that show were the feckless cops, bureaucrats, and dope slingers. And Marlo, of course. Omar had a humanity about him and stayed true to himself.

He was Leonard in 'Hap and Leonard'. A good guy in that one. Cool

They're all reasonably "good" villains though aren't they?

Personally, I would love to see him drop the MIchael and tackle the role of Kenneth "'Ere, stop mucking about!" Williams.
