Nice position to be in though money wise for him. Though I wonder once they heard how he wanted to end, did they nah, this is how it's gonna end! Or at least start influencing some of the story lines in his up coming books.

They said they loved Martin's ending, and I doubt that they could get away with significantly altering his vision, even though there have been some deviations from the book already.

You're missing the whole point of this epic if you want quick and tidy resolutions. Go watch the Vikings or some second tier cash-in instead :D
