I could just play the damned thing on auto-repeat and eventually die with a smile on my face.

Yeah, I've been listening to this stuff for 20 years now, and when all is said and done, this is what I come back to the most.

Or you're getting old and you can only handle the boring, ambient stuff anymore.

there might be something to that.
it's a contented record and I'm a pretty contented guy.
Matt's druthers were on the tip of my tongue but "Future Days" - the first time I heard it - it was familiar to me. I'm listening to it right now with Montana Wildhack on the planet Tralfamadore.

Sneelock, I can never remember--did you come to the last jollyup?
And did we meet?

Surely I would have recalled someone like you.

Tis only the the fact that if you'd come I'd doubtless have met you in my usual jollyup state which causes me to ask.

nope, I'm yet to make it to a jollyup. nice folks have tired of asking cause It seems I've always got some damned thing to do. I don't have a lot of free will these days but maybe the times they are a-changing or some shit.

thanks for asking!
when I do, I'll be the guy smirking who washes his hands a lot!

Ah, that's right.
I've asked you to attend numerous times but as yet you haven't been bothered.

This means I can still haze you about it then.

Song: Halleluhwah
Album: Future Days I just find this to be their most satisfying album from start to finish.

It's hot and sultry now. There are bugs and birds flying everywhere. Plants are bright green and moist and spewing oxygen everywhere. The sun is out but it's hazy.

Days like this are what Future Days sounds like. I listened to it this morning and it was perfect.
