Same for me.

One of the greats. Looking forward to his album and live show later this year.

Best song is a tough one because every album bar Guero has highlights with claims

Brassneck, I just decided I don't trust you anymore. :(

Girl? Black Tambourine? Definitely his weakest record, but a couple of corkers on there nonetheless.

But I couldn't agree more with this.
:D

I didn't say i didn't like Guero, i do; but the highlights you rightly mention wouldn't be bubbling under a Beck top 10.

Ok? :P

My whole post was based entirely on getting that Wedding Present joke in. Forgive me. :(

That's how I feel about him. I just get bored listening to him because there's nothing there. It's clever and diverse but it's like listening to someone talk about their record collection. Once he's established what each song is going to be like, I'm waiting to move onto the next one and only a few really rise above this. I guess I should give Sea Change a go, that's the only one I've not heard.
Album: Odelay, probably, the only one I can sit through any more.
Song: The New Pollution, one of his handful of genuinely great songs.

funny thing about BECK for me is that I'll bet 35 of my 50 favorite songs by him were all released in 1994.

ALBUM: One Foot In The Grave

SONG: Forcefield

I just listened to Sea Change again. I'm changing it to Lonesome Tears. "Day in the Life" string arrangement and all, it's just his most emotional song.
