Reminders - attachments.

Postby JQW » 19 Nov 2007, 16:34

The new board software does allow users to upload attachments (generally images) to posts.

Due to storage constraints I've had to configure the attachment system to only allow 100MB of files to be uploaded. Once that quota has been exceeded no more attachments can be uploaded.

I've blocked certain large file types from being uploaded due to this very issue. So it's currently not possible to upload MP3, WMA or M4A audio files as these are generally several megabytes in size.

However users can remove their own attachments once they believe they are no longer needed, via an option in the user control panel. Consider using this.

In addition remember to remove any draft posts that you've not got round to posting.

Er, we seem to have a spambot - this noba2278 'person' has been spamming the BCB Cup Board with ungrammatical posts. Please remove! Thank you.
