No need to bother informing me of the TapaTalk status - I can now confirm that it's working.

Well played Paul. Has this move cost us anything extra?

C rang me to say he can't get in. I told him to switch it off and on again. No good. He's trying another computer.

Some ISPs' DNS servers are still giving out the old IP address, so we still may be missing a few posters.
TalkTalk's DNS servers only seem to give out the new IP address about 20% of the time to complicate things further.

If current performance is anything to go by, it was really worth it!
Thanks Paul.

I can only get in on my phone for now. Will keep trying. Thanks again, Jethro!

Massive improvement.
Re: Server move - Monday morning UK time.
Is there a restriction on the search feature? It will only let me search once and then tells me I can't use it and to try again in a few minutes.

That will be a setting I put in place on the old server to stop the server getting hammered by excessive searches. I'll change it now.

Re: Server move - Monday morning UK time.
Hmm. I've just tried to change the search settings, and I've notice that the index is missing. This means that current searches are using brute force to search things, which is very inefficient.
I'll have to disable the search system until I get it fixed.
