I'm not in the slightest embarrassed as I am foreign and more importantly shameless and delusional.

Not alerted at all. Honest.
In other words an extended look into *******’s head, and it seems to have some pretty good things in it (who among us is totally free of mental garbage?) It’s nice to see that he is confident enough so he can play some blues again,I’d like to hear more.

I bet the buffet had already been delivered, and Sam took a fancy to the pork-pies and sausage rolls.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

As it’s the season of goodwill, let’s take a moment to reflect on the fact that ”past it” Wayne Rooney has scored more for a messy Everton than £50m+ Morata and Lacazette have for supposed title contenders.

Well ... set out to defend a home scoreless draw against a team short of confidence and with only one win in five matches? That'll be a 2-0 home defeat then.

On top of a defeat by a Bournmeouth side that hadn't a win in 8 previous games....

I can only imagine that the reason we are "allowing the opposition to take the game away from us" is because we're parking 10 men behind the ball. Easy isn't it, Sam? Certainly a lot more concise than your three and a half minute explanation.

Oh and I really love the way that he never misses any opportunity to tell us all about the 'sports science' part of his job (lactic acid, didn't you know?) and dissects the game brilliantly... sadly he then seems to forget the vast majority of this before the next fixture and... we do the same again.

Thought we were slightly unfortunate last night - much less of a pen than the one Klippety was whingeing about last month - and I even thought we could nick it at the end until Pickford's uncustomary calamity. Still, well done to the Reds. Strangely, even though there was that unpleasantness when Holgate idiotically shoved Fermino into the crowd, I thought it was played in a pretty good spirit, over-all.

Good to see Bolasie back and posing some problems and Siggurdsson's goal was a peach.

No doubt, RAWK has got an international team of lip-readers working round the clock at the moment.

Diamond Dog wrote:Re Ross Barkley - is the reason for his sudden change of heart :

a) Because he realised at the very last moment that the club means more to him than mere money, and he's going to come back from his injury in October, refershed and aching to regain his place playing for the club he loves, or
b) That he's made a backdoor deal with Chelsea ( knowing that he's out until at least October) to string his injury out until January, and then sign for them - by doing so saving them a transfer fee of £30 million, and pocketing (probably at least) half of that £30 million as a signing on fee?

I wonder what reception he thinks he's going to get when/if he runs out at Goodison again?
