I think we'll stay up, purely because we realistically need only four points (probably) from the last nine games. Our home form is good enough to get them, hopefully.
But the long term is dire, if we stick with Allardyce. We need to admit he's not the man to move us on, and recover from a (frankly) disastrous season. The fans didn't want him and they most certainly aren't going to want him around at the start of next season. Losing regularly is bad - but losing and playing like a Sunday morning pub team, is unforgivable.
There is nothing here I've not said prior to his appointment, of course.
