Denmark Men's Handball World Champions 2019

Postby GoogaMooga » 27 Jan 2019, 19:40

I don't really care about handball, but felt I should switch on the TV for the last 20 min. of the final. Denmark 31 - Norway - 22. Historic victory, first time a Danish sports team wins a world championship.

They could've at least trimmed off the excess gold foil from the bottom of that trophy, fer christ's sake.

I was reminded earlier today that the women got a hattrick in the 90s: World Championship, European Championship, and Olympic Gold in handball.

By the time their fans get through the first "Give me a D, give me an E...." their reign as champions will have ended

It was more a comment on the length of time it took to say rather than reading ability
