I'll hold off on some to prolong the thread, but last night I was thinking of best sporting nicknames when they showed a clip of Gilbert Arenas, a prolific scorer in basketball, but grade A loon. Here is beginning list of some of my favorite nicknames from American sports

Le Grande Orange, otherwise known as Rusty Staub of the Montreal Expos, NY Mets, and other teams died today.

Le Grand Orange was his nickname when he played for the Expos.

At Nottingham Forest, we had a striker named Junior Agogo. He was nicknamed Einstein. Fans of 80s synthpop will understand why....
