He was going on the Hall of Fame ballot in 2019. Statistics say he deserved to go, too. This will probably insure it.

This was just totally unexpected today. He’s most definitely going to the Hall of Fame now. The type of pitcher that would’ve been dominated in any era. RIP to an absolute legend.

Sad news. I always liked seeing Halladay pitch. Didn't get a chance to see him much in AL and NL East, but a great, great pitcher. Supposedly, a really good guy too.
