Understandable. How about Graeme Souness, who made one appearance for the mighty Spurs? ;)

And then had the cheek to march in on Bill Nicholson and demand a raise, only to get booted off to Boro. That's when it started.

But not really irrational, no.

Possibly the best 20 grand Boro ever spent. Was brilliant for 4 years (once Jack Charlton got hold of him and got his attitude right), then he got tapped up by Liverpool and played half a season in the most disinterested, cynically half arsed way possible until Boro finally decided grant his wish and take the money. He was roundly booed every time he came back.
We're usually skipping around the function room in our long-johns by now...

As much as it pains me, whenever people ask me about an all time GB XI, souness is pretty much the first name on the sheet. After Neville Southall, obviously. And Alan Ball.

Played for Ajax which already was good enough for me to hate him. When Liverpool signed him, my heart sank. And even for all his brilliance, I never warmed to him as him being a Red should do.

Well if we're talking football (as everyone else here is  ) the answer is Kevin Muscat without any hesitation whatsoever but it isn't really irrational is it? Bloke is a solid gold cuntwit.
