For the final of the "coveted"* Checkatrade Trophy (whatever the fuck that is!).
Last night's semi-final win is a slight holiday from the relentless misery of being a Sky Blues fan under the disastrous stewardship of the SISU hedge fund. Since Ray Ransom and his mates moved into Hightailed Road a decade or so back, they've asset stripped the club of its ground (and are now well on the way to selling its training facilities), fire-sold every halfway decent player to recently pull on a City shirt, watched the club endure two 10 points deductions and are now presiding over almost certain relegation to Division 4 (or whatever the fuck it's called this week).
Pretty sure there will be other fans here whose club is being similarly milked to death...

Congrats to the players, coaches & supporters.
Doesn't sound as coveted as the LDV Vans Cup, the Johnson Paints Bowl or the Split Durex Receptacle though.

Which of those have Liverpool won this year then?

Hopefully Oxford will be there (semi final against Luton)... we lost in the final last year.

Sadly none of them yet, we're believed to be concentrating our efforts on the Knorr Laughing Stock Pot.
And the people's club?

Did your final appearance act as any kind of springboard that sent OU shooting up the table.
With SISU's stewardship having caused the club to teeter on the edge of a yawning chasm for so long, I think most Sky Blues fans are hoping the team's Checkatrade final appearance will be something of a great leap forward...
