Wonderful game so far.

Unfortunately entirely spoiled by Ramos, that dive is up there with the Rivaldo's of this world. Why on earth is he not subjected to a two-year ban? I see nothing different from what he does/did than a drug cheat - and in many ways morally it is worse. And when the game is already won - I mean who the fck cheats when they have already won?

He's a disgrace. An absolute disgrace. That was one of the worst things I've ever seen on a football pitch. Shameless too.

What a cunt

I'd take that group for the mighty Liverpool, poor spurs.

Your Champions League group stage draw…

Group A: Benfica, Man Utd, Basel, CSKA Moscow

Group B: Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Anderlecht, Celtic

Group C: Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Roma, Qarabag

Group D: Juventus, Barcelona, Olympiakos, Sporting

Group E: Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, Liverpool, Maribor

Group F: Shakhtar Donetsk, Man City, Napoli, Feyenoord

Group G: Monaco, Porto, Besiktas, RB Leipzig

Group H: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, Apoel

Poor Qarabag and Apoel would be my first reaction.

I have to admit that when I first looked I thought "where's Arsenal then?".....So ubiquitous have they been by their presence over the years.

Poor Celtic as well - Bayern and PSG.

Liverpool will fancy themselves but won't enjoy playing Sevilla and they'll want to get the away leg at Spartak over as quickly as possible. They need to finish top to have a good chance of qualifying for the Quarters.

If I was Poch, I'd say goodbye to the CL and concentrate on winning the Premiership. I'm sure most Spurs fans would take that over a "decent" run to the quarters or whatever.

Man United will be laughing - a relatively straightforward group and I can see them going to the Quarters at least. Still think they need a razor sharp forward to have any chance of winning the whole thing though - a Greizmann for example.

It's as good as we could have hoped for but the way we're leaking goals

And meanwhile, a fantastic story in Östersund somehow managing to get into the Europa League, beating the likes of Galatasaray and PAOK in qualification. I guess most Swedish teams would be considered minnows in the European context, but Östersund really brings this to a new level - the club is tiny and it's not long ago that it was in the third tier of the Swedish leagues - which is not far off Sunday league territory (back in the day, the club I played for narrowly lost out to promotion into the third tier). After yesterday's victory one of the players commented: "We can come against Arsenal, Milan and whatever the fck those kinds of teams are called!" Fantastic story - and the only English manager in Europe:

Given we had to get through three qualifying rounds to get into the "Champions" League. Being in the group stages is already an achievement. A realistic target is to finish third and still be playing European football after Christmas.

Celtic would struggle to qualify from any of those groups.

If I was fan I'd take the big glamour ties against the likes of PSG and Bayern and, like Jeemo said, hope for a 3rd place finish.

I was hoping we'd get them in our group, I'm surrounded by Celtic fans so it would be a bit of banter and an excuse for some more robust banter down t'pub.

totally pumped last night. no complaints but we made it far too easy for them. can't decide who was the biggest arse last night. the twat that ran on the park trying to kick a psg player or the world's most expensive footballer refusing to shake hands with an 18 year old opponent who's only played a handful of first team games.

It is.

I only saw the first half but they were, oddly enough, second best for the vast majority of it. Or rather they played in a very un-Spurs way and conceded ground and didn't press, allowing Dortmund tons of possession. Maybe they've decided to adopt that policy at Wembley against the better teams - rather than try and press all over the (big) pitch?

Whatever - great result as you say.

By the way - someone needs to tell the Dortmund keeper where his near post is.

Not looking forward to tonight. Who plays at the back is a lottery now.
