Paul Lambert leaves Stoke City by mutual consent

Surprised by that, thought he was worth a punt.

Why? What did Paul Lambert actually do to suggest he warranted a contract? His Stoke record - P15 W2 D6 L7.

His overall record as a manager is a win rate of 38%.

He's a dull, lifeless, uninspiring damp squib in front of the press.

I think he was very fortunate to be given yet another chance at the top level - and he flopped dismally, yet again.

Roman Abramovich's visa to stay in the UK has apparently expired and it looks as though he might not be getting a new one due to his apparently being a "Putin crony"

A donation to the Tory party will sort that.

Obviously it was the former rather than latter.

So that's 2 1/2 years they'll have to pay off when they sack him in November then...

How that loathsome bluffer keeps getting jobs is a mystery only beaten by the seemingly continued employablity of Pardew.

Congratulations!

Fulham & Wolves were the best footballing teams in the Championship, so it's good to see that rewarded with promotion.

Great sporting year for owner Khan too, with Jacksonville doing so brilliantly in the NFL too.

Great to see Fulham and Wolves back. Cardiff can fuck off, I hope they are relegated with a record least points in history.

Yes, generally Im an easy going chap, but Neil Warnock is an unlikeable tosser isn't he.
Not in the Trump/Piers Morgan class, but the sporting equivalent. Premiership has always shown him up in the past.
